Andrea Leong attained her RGG FIG Brevet 3 and RGI FIG Brevet 4 in 2017 during the FIG Judging Accreditation Course in Uzbekistan. Since then, she has judged in the local as well as international scene in competitions such as at Happy Cup, Belgium, Singapore Open, National Championships and National School Games to name a few.

Andrea is also an internationally accredited coach after attaining her level 1 FIG Academy certification. She has coached the Singapore National Teams and local schools including Methodist Girls’ School, CHIJ Kellock & CHIJ Toa Payoh Secondary, Marymount Convent School, Raffles Girls’ Primary & Secondary School. She is also an MOE qualified coach. Her students have won medals at many competitions.

Andrea was a gymnast from 2000 – 2012 and competed in many national competitions. She had won numerous awards both individually and for her school.

With her passion in Rhythmic Gymnastics & love for children, Andrea founded Rhythm & Groove in May 2017. Her academy was built so as to expose girls to different genres of music and to allow each girl to find their own beat that is innate in every individual as well as to have an environment that cultivate the same passion in the sport that she still has until this day.
